Electronics Technician

Strainsert seeks highly motivated responsible individuals with 5 years of manufacturing experience (or have an aptitude to develop skills) and who is willing to perform multiple tasks including fine soldering, wiring, building cable assemblies, product testing and assembly in support of custom design work. The position is not assembly line related.

Candidates should also have experience in maintaining and meeting production schedules, as well as monitoring and performing quality inspections. Duties include reading CAD drawings, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings and engineering instructions for manufacturing and assembly of sensors and instrumentation. Sensor/Instrumentation production requires assembly, test, and verification of electronic components according to engineering instructions and technical manuals.

Candidate should have experience or demonstrate an ability to be trained in the use of hand and power tools, especially the use of soldering irons. Work is under the direction of the Engineering Department. A demonstration of soldering skills as well as familiarity with instruments is required for employment.

J-STD / Space Addendum soldering certification is a plus.

Flexible hours: 7-3:30 or 8-4:30

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour. Salary will be based on skill and experience.
