Calibration Technician
Strainsert seeks highly motivated responsible individuals with calibration experience (or have an aptitude to develop skills) and who is willing to perform multiple tasks including daily maintenance of calibration equipment and fixtures.
Candidates should also have experience in maintaining and meeting production schedules, as well as monitoring and performing quality inspections. Duties include reading CAD drawings, wiring diagrams, schemac drawings and engineering instructions for calibration of sensors and instrumentation.
Calibration requires the assembly of test fixtures, electronic hookups, operation of calibration equipment and computer software. In addition, the candidate should have good mechanical ability and the ability to follow technical manuals.
Candidate should have experience or demonstrate an ability to utilize software and build/select calibration fixtures in accordance with specified job instructions. Job will also require using hand and power tools, hoists and lifts, as well as moving heavy equipment and products.
Knowledge of Instron BlueHill Universal software is a plus.
Candidates must only be a United States citizen, no dual citizenship.
Flexible hours: 7-3:30 or 8-4:30
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour. Salary will be based on skill and experience.
