What are the available payment terms for orders?

Net 30 payment terms are available based on established on-time payment history and a credit evaluation using your company’s Dun and Bradstreet number/information.

Other payment terms are available, based on a credit review and on a case-by-case basis.

What product warranty does Strainsert provide?

Strainsert provides a two-year warranty for its load pins and load cells. This warranty covers any malfunction due to defects in materials or workmanship for two years after shipment to the original purchaser. Additionally, non-warranty repair work performed by Strainsert is guaranteed for six months.

What methods of payment does Strainsert accept?

Does Strainsert offer a reseller discount?

Strainsert does not offer a reseller discount.

Does Strainsert offer quantity discounts?

Does Strainsert sell directly outside of the United States or do they have representatives?

We have dedicated representatives for Canada, the United Kingdom and Continental Europe, with the exception of Russia.

Does Strainsert accept customer terms and conditions on standard product orders?

Strainsert’s standard products are commercial off-the-shelf items and are not subject to customer specified terms and conditions. All items are designed, manufactured, and tested in accordance with the AS9100 Aerospace Quality System, including ISO 9001, electronic workmanship per IPC J-STD-001, and final testing and calibration traceable to NIST.

If additional terms and conditions are required, they must go through a review process involving engineering, quality, and legal. This process would classify the items as custom, increasing lead time and cost, as stated in the quote.

Custom product designs that require terms and conditions will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.

What is an NRE (Non-Recurring Engineering) charge?

An NRE charge is a one-time, upfront cost that is for the design and development efforts required to create a specific custom product or solution.

When will my Customer Approval Drawing be available?

Drawings are released for customer approval typically within 2-5 business days after order acceptance. Design complexity can impact the approval drawing release timeline.

How can I check my order status?

What shipping carriers and services does Strainsert offer?

Shipping is customer directed and will require that the carrier and shipping account number be specified on the P.O. Alternatively, Strainsert is pleased to offer shipping via UPS and FedEx as a Pre-Pay and Add service.

How can I get shipping tracking information on my order?

Does Strainsert use customer portals?

Yes. If your company would like us to register on your portal, please email your Strainsert representative or customerservice@strainsert.com with a portal invitation.
