Standard Flat Load Cell Accessories

Strainsert offers a variety of load cell accessories designed for ease of load cell installation and use, including; mounting bases for interfacing the load cell with various loading rods, spherical load buttons for compression loading on Universal Flat Load Cells, and compression load buttons for use with Compression Flat Load Cells.

Universal Flat Load Cell^® Base Dimensions

Load cell mounting bases are available which bolt to the load cell, and have the identical thread engagement as the load cell, providing a simple loading rod interface.

Universal Flat Load Cell^® Load Buttons

Load Buttons are available for compression loading applications with Universal and Fatigue Rated Load Cells. The buttons are designed with a radius on the contact surface to accomodate small angular mis-alignments of the applied load with respect to the load cell.

Compression Flat Load Cell^® Spherical Load Buttons

These buttons are designed to accomodate small angular mis-alignments of the applied force with respect to Compression Flat Load Cells, similar to the Universal load cells above.

Compression Flat Load Cell^® Center Hole Sizes

Strainsert compression load cells can be purchased with a small thru-hole in the center loading boss. The center hole can be used for locating and attaching the load cell to the loading structure. Any center hole bolt is not intended to carry any substantial loading. Please see specification table for allowable thru-hole sizes.
